Janel is back from Surgery

Everything went well, and she is back at home ordering me around. It turns out she also had a minor tear of the meniscus, so it was a good thing that we got the surgery quickly rather than waiting for the summer.

ACL Surgery

Janel did end up tearing her ACL. Luckily everything else looks good. She is having surgery to get it repaired on Wednesday. They will be using some of her (apparently large) hamstring. Wish her luck! I guess it will be her turn to get taken care of for a while. If anyone wants to come over and help me with chores, that would be great :P.

March Madness

I am running a March Madness pool this year. No money or anything.

If you are in town, I am thinking of spicing it up a bit. Winner will get dinner bought for him/her by the other participants (only for people here in Portland). I am thinking of doing Mio or maybe Screen Door or something. Let me know if you are interested and if you have any suggestions. You do not have to participate if you are not into it :).

Join here.

John Stewart v Jim Cramer

John Stewart totally reamed Jim Cramer on Thursday night. It was a great "interview". I would highly recommend watching it.

On a side note, Hulu is great. Now all that I am missing by not having cable is Monday Night Football.

Janel's Turn

Well it's looking like Janel tore her ACL. She will confirm it on Thursday with an MRI, but it is looking like she is going to have to have surgery as well. We are a mess.

My shoulder is recovering slowly. My strength is starting to come back, but my range of motion is not doing so hot. I am supposed to be pretty much back to 100% from a motion perspective, but it is looking like it might be a while.

Credit Crisis

Allen sent this over to me. It is a short video that does a great job of explaining the credit crisis. I would highly recommend giving it a whirl. It is ~11 minutes long.
