The Oregon Senate passed a bill today offering "domestic partners" the same benefits as married people. It also passed another measure banning descrimination against GLBT people in employment, housing and access to public accommodations. These bills are expected to move smoothly through the house and the governor "looks forward" to signing them into law. It is nice living in a progressive state.
